Coriander Chicken fry
Coriander chicken fry is made with the aromatic flavour of coriander leaves and other Indian spices.

Ingredients:
Chicken - 500g - cut into small pieces
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut - 1 tblsp
Onion chopped - 1 tblsp
Lemon juice - 5ml
Salt - to taste
Oil - 3 tblsp
Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tsp to garnish
Marinade:
Chopped coriander leaves - 6 tblsp
Red Chilli - 5-6
Cumin (Jeera) seeds - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1 inch long and 3/4 inch wide piece
Garlic - 6 cloves
Vinegar - 75ml
Method:
Grate the ginger and garlic.
Grind all the ingredients listed under Marinade into a smooth paste.
Marinate the chicken pieces with the ground marinade paste, turmeric powder and salt for atleast 2 hours.
Chop the onion; Grate the coconut. Grind the onion and coconut with little water into a smooth paste.
Heat a pan and add oil.
Add the marinated chicken pieces without the marinade to the pan; Let it brown on both sides;
Now add the marinade, ground onion and coconut; stir well; cover and cook on low heat for about 7-8 minutes.
Sprinkle water if needed.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Coriander chicken fry is ready to be served.
Notes:
This dish can be served as an appetizer.
