Wheat cake ball is an Indian snack/sweet which can be eaten for breakfast or as a snack. |

Ingredients: |

Wheat flour - 125g
-
Egg Medium - 1

Coconut milk/Cow milk - 2 tblsp

Sugar - 4 tblsp
-
Sodium bicarbonate - a pinch
-
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
-
Oil - 200-225ml for deep frying

Water - as required

Method: |

Whisk the egg well.

Sift the flour.

Add wheat flour, sugar, sodium bicarbonate, vanilla essence and milk to the whisked egg; Mix well.

Add water if the batter is too thick.

Leave the batter aside for about 10-15 minutes.

Take about 1 tablespoon of batter, drop it in the oil as a ball and fry it in the oil until it becomes golden brown.

Repeat the above step to fry 4-5 cake balls at a time.

Repeat the above 2 steps until all the batter is finished.
